Lovingly Held by the Earth

A 25-minute slow flow to nourish our connection with the Earth

In this practice, we’ll be focusing on our body’s connection with the Earth. As we flow through slow and mindful transitions, we do so with the knowledge that we are lovingly held and supported by this beautiful Earth beneath us.

You don’t need any props for this practice. However, we will be working deeper into the hips and hamstrings, so if you do have blocks at home, keep them nearby, somewhere near the top of your mat.

This flow is centred around downward dog, but remember that you can always take child’s pose for as long as you need, and rejoin us when you’re ready!

You’re welcome to practise along as is, with the natural soundscape and birdsong. Or, if you’d prefer to practise with music, you can find the accompanying Spotify playlist here:

Note: most phones won’t allow you to listen to two things at once, so if you do want to practise along to the playlist then I’d recommend using a laptop/computer!
